Live Show at Marigold Auditorium December 22
We've got a show coming up at the Marigold Auditorium in Winterville on Friday, December 22. Doors open at 7:00. The Wild Jordan Tonk-Cats will play at 8:00 and Squalls-22 featuring Bob Hay and Diana Torell will play at 9:15.
All ages show. Tickets are $10 plus fees, with a limited nuber of premium seats (the first 2 rows in the center section) going for $20. Get tickets here.

The show included a solo set by Bob Hay playing some Robert Burns' songs, a set by the Wild Jordan Tonk Cats, and a set by Squalls-22 including 3 songs from Bob's 2005 project A. Che Why.
Athens Show Announced
Save the date! Squalls 22 is playing live on March 24, 2023. The venue is The Lab at Ciné, 234 West Hancock Avenue in downtown Athens. Tickets are $10 and can be ordered here.
On the program is, first at 9:30, a solo set by Bob Hay doing some of his favorite Robert Burns songs, and then at 10:00 a set by The Wild Jordan Tonk Cats, followed at 11:00 by a set of Squalls songs featuring Bob Hay and Diana Torell. It might be kinda late for some of you, but hey - it's a Friday night!

Lyric video for "The Sheik" released
Today, Propeller Sound Recordings released a new lyric video of "The Sheik" created by Vanessa Briscoe Hay. The song is one of the bonus tracks on Squalls [Remastered Extended Edition], which can be ordered here on CD or vinyl.

Bob Hay Interview on CJLO
On Friday, December 9, the Go Go Radio Magic Show on CJLO 1690 AM in Montreal played some Squalls songs and aired an interview with Bob.
The show is now achived on the Go Go Radio Magic Show web site.
The second hour of the show is a superb documentary of the story of Squalls, skillfully edited by DJ Ian Macpherson.
Squalls [Remastered Extended Edition] vinyl has arrived
Today, the vinyl version of Squalls [Remastered Extended Edition] is now available in fine record stores everywhere. It was delayed by supply chain issues.
In other news, the band played at the Nuci's Space "Athens Uncovered: Steeple Edition" benefit on Sunday, November 27, along with 12 other bands. A few videos of the show have been popping up including this one of "Kalinka".

Today, Propeller Sound Recordings is releasing Squalls [Remastered Extended Edition] on CD and digital. (The vinyl release has been delayed to December 2 due to supply-chain issues.) For this release, OnlineAthens.com (Athens Banner-Herald) has a featured article which includes the premiere of another great lyric video created by Vanessa Briscoe Hay for the song "Kalinka".
The full-length LP includes the studio recordings of Squalls eponymous EP and the single "Crickets / Bride of Frankenstein" originally released in 1984-85 on Mbrella Records, as well as 3 never released studio tracks from 1983. From 1981-1989,
Squalls rocked Athens and made several tours of the South, the Midwest, and East coast cities including several shows at New York City clubs CBGB, Danceteria, and Peppermint Lounge. They released 4 recordings and appeared in the 1986 movie "Athens, GA: Inside/Out".
